Sound Bath - Deeply restorative - Kenilworth
Guiding you into deep relaxation through voice and gong - deeply restorative sound journey
Service Description
It's Friday evening... the week is done, and all you have to do is lie down, get cosy under a big soft blanket and close your eyes. This is a small, in-person sound bath for anyone who's tired, overwhelmed or just in need of a bit of rest or YOU time. There's nothing to do, nothing to get right and no experience needed. You just lie back and let yourself be looked after. The gong (I'm obsessed with it... I have been called a gong geek): I have to tell you about my gong, because I couldn't love it more. It's a Paiste Planetary gong, a beautiful handmade instrument tuned to the planets, and the sound it makes is like nothing else. It starts as a soft shimmer, then builds into deep, rolling waves of sound that you feel as much as hear. They wash right through you, and somewhere in there your overactive mind just… lets go. How it works We start with a guided meditation, using my experience in NLP and clinical hypnotherapy using certain words, tone and rhythm to help you settle and let your body get comfortable and your mind to quiet. Then the gong takes over. The sound gives your mind something to float in rather than something to think about. Many people drift into deeply relaxed state yet still aware of the sound around them. What people tell me afterwards: "I slept better that night than I have in months" "My overthinking mind finally switched off" "I felt more relaxed than I could remember feeling in a long time" "The worries from the week literally floated away" What to expect on the night A small, relaxed group in the cosy Basement Snug, Kenilworth Friday 23rd October, 7.15pm to 8.30pm Mats, cushions and blankets provided, or bring your own pillow if you like to be extra snug. Guided meditation followed by a deep, immersive gong bath Wear something comfy and warm although the studio is lovely and warm Come as you are, however your week has been. You'll leave feeling lighter, calmer and ready for the best night's sleep. A gentle note before you book Gong baths are very gentle and suit most people.
